Dear all,

I am a new comer.

I am using Baan V.c and having problem in Fixed Assets Management module.

At the beginning of using Baan, I can't do depreciation on an asset which has service date before the year 2003. The error message is : "Fiscal Period not defined for date 01022002. Must defined periods for fiscal year containing date". 01022002 is the service date of the asset.

Then I installed some solutions related to FAM module instead of installing SP 11.

Till now, the problem still exists, and I found some other problem such as 'Remain Life field is zero' which only occured in live company (Remain Life is calculated correctly in testing company).

Anyone ever got similar problem?
Your suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Thanks and regards,
Handy

Hello,

For the first problem you should have installed the following solutions, #112533 and #158911. You must open the fiscal periods of 2002 to enter assets in FAM module.

The second problem, be sure that all the parameters are equal to both companies, that the categories -tffam1511m000 - are correct. I only had that problem if the asset life was < 1 year and i installed solution 132404
