I may in future need to expand a 4c4 system currently covering a UK company to a plant in the Czech Republic. If I need to setup a new company for this operation what if any legal and statutory frameworks for the Czech Republic would I need to include. Do they have any different business practices that would require modifications.

you will need czech localization installed on your system. It is distributed by local SW firm in Czech Republic (just look at www.gemma.cz/en).
Where are you going to implement Baan exactly ?
