Who can briefly explain what the p.bp can be used for. Is it only that payments/receipts can be directed from business partners to the parent business partner ? What about open items ?

Hello,

You can use the Parent BP for many purposes, including consolidating many subsidiaries invoices to the parent company for finance, in terms of purchase / sales orders, you will have the orders going to sold to BP but can use Parent BP for reporting purposes (like total sales to the company, or purchases made)
