When trying to change account 20036 in Maintain Chart of Accounts (form 2) in the Currency Analysis field, from "Not Required" to "Required, Calculate Currency differences" systems gives an error message "Legder account present in history"

Need to be able to change Currency Analysis of account to track currency differences.

Any help will be appreciated

You will have to change it through GTM Syatem will not allow you to do it through the session because currency history does not exist

If u change the same through GTM , it will help only for the future transactions. For already entered transactions , currency differences may not be calculated.

Hi All,

Before you change something by GTM, be sure that session tfgld5201m000 "Calculate Currency Differences" is doing nothing with the ledger transaction before the GTM change.

My advise is do first a test and if the test shows that it works apply it in the live environment.
