Dear Baan Experts,

I have added one session to the user, when the user is trying to open the session it is saying " No permission for the session, session cannot be run".Kindly guide me in resolving the issue.

Hi,

If a user has some role attached , do this:-

1. Go to ttams2100m000 and find that role.
2. Go to specific and click on Session Authorization by Session (ttams3132m000)
3. Add the new session to the list.
4. Specific and convert to runtime

Also, if you have a table attached to it (in case of maintain session) , go to Table Authorization by Table (ttams3142m000) and add that table in there and do a convert to runtime.

Relogin.


Now, let the user log out and log in again.


Note:- This is not for DEM.
If you use DEM flow, just add the session to the Business Process attached to that user.

All the authorization have given, but Authorization indicator is showing exclusive instead of inclusive.

Might mean that authorization is already defined at the module level. Note that any changes need to be made runtime. If using DEM one possibility could be that the activity/process is excluded using role/reponsibility by BP/activity.

Just noticed that you have Baan IV. I suggest you to wait for A Baan IV expert to answer you. In LN, we have a different configuration for setting up the authorizations.

A quick answer is to delete the "Exclusive" entry in Session Authorisations - presumably ttaad2131m000. Then Special/Convert to runtime data dictionary

then make it inclusive.
