We are setting up another production company which will be a finance and logistics company. I thought we should be able to reference the DEM models from our existing production company in order to take advantage of processes and roles already setup. Can I do this or do I need to export the models from one company and import to the new company?
I think this is controlled through Enterprise Modeler Parameters but I am not sure of all the implications.

You can share the tgbrg module across all companies so you don't have to copy them.

So you just shared the tables? Did you setup the Enterprise Modeler Parameters session (tgbrg0100s000) or share that table as well?

That works for us best.

Hello KimSharp,

Can you please give some more details about how you "shared" the tgbrg tables?

I was setting them up as logical tables for the 'new' company, pointing back to the 'old' company as physical table, but it did not work, because the DEM Browser expects some tables to be defined as physical tables, and I have not had the time to find out which ones.

Thank you.

That is exactly what I did. I shared the entire tgbrg module back to the original company. I did not have any problems doing that.

I will suggest not to share tgbrg tables , instead , go to dem parameters and select the master company as DEM central parameter company . Than by linking emplyees to specific companies , we can give rights and there is no need to create duplicate business processes in all coompanies.

Agreed. It is not recommended to share the DEM tables in that fashion if the central DEM Parameters are available.

In some version tg tables also reference other modules that is why the central DEM is the preferred method.

I don't have central DEM parameters.
