I need DEM-role twice, because at other role I will make few changes.
How can I copy complete DEM-Role with subapplication modelling and so on?

hi...
I have also the same problem. Paul, as per your sujjestion, only role name is copying but authorizations are not copying.

Hi,
did you try Export Version Dump (tgbrg1235m000) where you choose only the role in Mask four? And than Import Version Dump (tgbrg1245m000).

If I will copy a role with all activities - it's a bad idea to do this with export DEM and import it...
This function is not available yet. For my liking - DEM is a good and helpful functionality, but more intelligent and more 'easy to use' to have at the DEM - this would be very a nice idea.
But, whatever- It's not a trick, it's Infor. :-(

Create the new role....
Open the existing DEM flow
Edit - Select All - Copy
Open the DEM flow for the new role
Paste
Make changes
Save.

Good Idea Paul, but doens't work.
For a DEM Model you can do the following:
- create roles in tgbrg8110m000
- create DEM with Flow, Activities and so on at tgbrg5500m000
- set access rights per role in project model at tgbrg4560m000
- do the subapplication modeling at tgbrg5500m000
- set access rights per role for subapplication at tgbrg4560m000
That means - for one role you have records in several tables.
If you will amke a copy from a role, than not onla for tfbrg8110m000 but for all entries from this role at alle tables from packages tgbrg.
And this is not possible at the moment. I have get this negative inforamtion from Infor support. Unfortunately Infor do also not plan to implement a copy function for roles (is not scheduled until now).
