Hi,
We are using Baan LN FP2 and have implemented DEM. In session Versions, we do not have any Expiry Date for our version. Does this mean we will never have to license our DEM versions?
Is there any problem if we never license the DEM?

Hi,
if the versions have been purchased from Infor/Baan, you will need to relicense. If however you created the models from scratch, so they are fully yours relicensing will not be required as far as I know.

No, that only means that, this version will not expire. You can have different versions with different effectivity and expiry dates.

This happens when you copy the tg tables.
You should always export and import DEM tables and info. See Model Item Management.

Hi,
Of course, we exported the version from Simulation company and Imported into Live company  .
We did not copy the tg tables at DB/Baan level.
I asked @ licensing, becuase the expiry date was not appearing for this version.

pay attention, you have 2 expiry date.
the expiry date of the version (linked to the status "expired", and the expiry date of licensing (linked to the validity of license).
but of course, if you have designed your own version which is not derivated from an INFOR standard version like EBM37 (the last one), you do not need to license it, so the license expiry date is not used...

Of course, we are only talking about Licensing.
Anyways, thanks for being cautious :) .
