Hi,
I am using IV c3.
In PO Lines, you can not change the Order Qty after receipts have been made. Why is that?
Please advice.
Thanks

The only reason I can think of is that there is a provision to Maintain Backorder, which is in a way 'changing' of the order quantity. After a partial receipt, one can Maintain Backorder and can reprint the purchase order such that it prints the Back Order quantity (which becomes the new Order Quantity) instead of the original Order Quantity.

Yes, it IS a bit a of a problem, not being able to change the orginal Order Quantity.

When receiving you can over and under receive based on the order qty. so you don't need to change order qty.

Yes, Maintain Back Order is the only way to 'control' the 'order quantity'. It is not too bad, once you get used to it.
