I'm setting up an outgoing (purchase order) message in a proprietary format. How can I control the formatting/alignment of individual fields, e.g.: tdpur040.odat needs to be as 'yymmdd' instead of the standard 'yyyymmdd', tdpur041.oqua needs to be as '0000050' instead of '50 ', tdpur041.pric needs to be formatted as '00000600' instead of '0.60 '

Use session Maintain Organizations (tcedi0103m000) to maintain date format. On page2 you will find the field for date formatting. Please note that this date format applies for entire EDI module. Other fields I doubt it can be controlled in BaaN. It has to be done outside of BaaN, in transaltion software.

I also found the option for the leading zero's in 'Maintain Networks' (tcedi0120m000)
