I am referring to blocking incoming purchase orders that result in a BaaN sales order.

My first thought is to change the processing flag from Automatic to Interactive in the session 'EDI Messages Supported by Relation'.

I have been testing the EDI programs interactively and this does not block a sales order.

If you read the field help on tdsls040.cblc, it lists the reasons for blocking an order. One of the reasons is "Order is an EDI order."

I am wondering what triggers this event.

It can be either blocked at EDI Message supported by Business Partners or you can block the EDI orders at Order type (provided you have seperate order type for sales orders)
