Hello,
Can someone pls. help with this: I am trying to determine what the Sales Status Code (tdsls045.ssls) is and where it is set. For instance is a 1 an open sales order and a 3 a delivered order? Is this code specific to our site or general in Baan.
Thank You.
(on Baan IVc3 & NT)

Hi,
The status is set because of the order type you use at the Sales Order (defined at the Sales Order Header). Every step in the Order type have a fixed code (step). To maintain an order type, you first have to define the steps you are going to use.
I don't have Baan in front of me now, but if you use IVc3, I guess you will find the Order Type and Order Step at Distribution / Sales / Sales Orders / Miscellaneous.

The step number indicates the session that is next o be performed. Generally, the following is true:
1=Print Acknowledgement
2=Print Pick List
3=Maintain Deliveries
4=Print Packing List
5=Print Bill of Lading
6=Print Sales Invoice
7=Process Delivered Sales Orders
There is also the mask (tdsls045.pmsk) field that shows the status of the various steps. The status and mask get changed when you execute various sales steps.
