When I do the Sales Statistic Update, I would like to know:
1. What is actual BaaN processes(behind the scenes) in terms
a Of which tables are updated,
b which tables used to store the sums(totals) etc
c. And any other info or tips which might help understand how this session works.

use bic_info6.1 on the object or the print session information on the session.. also get some documentation from the baan support website - cyber docs...

In short:
Update - Actual Cust Data Yes/No
Yes = Sales order table used
No = Sales History table used
Full update - Yes/No
Yes = Stats deleted and regenerated
No = Stats added
Stats tables are updated after Sort codes are activated.

The sales statistics are updated based on the history tables tdsls050 and tdsls051. Depending on the status in these tables processed or not, the data of the history is transfered to some basetables in the sst tables. Orderintake is bases on sequensenumber 1 in the history tables (orderintake), turnover statistics is bases on sequensenumber 3 in the history (turnover, which is filled after processing the order).
For Baan5c, the statisticmodule is working perfectly.

Hi btromp,
I have tried everything possible on Sales Stats and still getting "No data within selection". More suggestion will be appreciated, how different is it from 4 C4?
Thanks :)

Hi Abuibra,
Before run the update, you can try follow the steps below:
1. Make sure there is no database lock and pls clear all locks
2. Run Invoice Posting to AR
3. Run Process Delivered SO
4. Run Update sales statistics (Check "Full Update" only if it is corrupted, for normal run, pls uncheck).

Hi Taaron,
What do you mean Run Invoice Posting to AR(do you mean print all the Final invoices) ?
Thanks

Hi there,
Perhaps you should look at the sst parameter settings (tdsst0100m000). After that, you should setup the sort -and layout codes with the proper date selection. If you want to be sure that something has come into the statistics you can look in the sst tables if there is any data in it. It looks to me that the selection in the layout code is wrong.....
The checkbox update customerdata means that the process of update statistics will look at several fields of your customerdata, so perhaps you expect data bases on the sales history, but it is taking data from your customersettings bases on the marked checkbox????? Only an idea.
Hope this will help you further. By the way, turnover amounts will be ready for statistics after you processed the order (tdsls4223m00).

Number of Columns in Sales Statistics - 5c
Hi,
In BaaN IVc 4, we used to get 15 columns in the layout. However, we are getting only 13 columns in Vc, any ideas?
Thanks

In the domain tdsst.coln it is defined that you can define upto 20 colums in total, perhaps you should check this domain and look at the range wich is valid for this domain (should be 1,20).
Hope this helps.
