We have a situation where we want to buy Item "A" from supliers both in Canada and the USA. The problem is when we try to maintain Alternative Suppliers by item. We want to be able to attach a different unit of measure to each supplier. Likewise a different currency for pricing. Does anyone have a work around?

You could set the default currency per supplier, but I'm still thinking of a way to assign different measurement unit per supplier <thinking>

I'm not sure if you can do it with the same item but you could create two items (one for Canada and one for US) and then make them interchangeable in Maintain Alternative Items.
