Is there any way I could process a Sales Orders without the Prins Sales Inv Step?

My company merged with one of our Customers, so we no longer require invoicing to them, but we require to continue receive their requirements thru EDI and generate de SO for the MRP, SFC and outbound to release the Inventory.

This until we fully merge our companies/systems.

I tried to generate a new Order Step without the print sales inv, but the session sends a message error that "Print Invoices" must be part of the procedure.

Any ideas of how can I process a Sales Order without the Print Sales Invoice?

Well you can customize it. Once it reaches sales invoice stage just move the step. No financial integration would happen. Will this work? It is simple customization,
