Technically, the Item Inventory Session's Main Table is whwmd400. So, when you create an item, and fill the Item-Warehousing Data, the record is visible in Item Inventory Session with Zero Values.

May I know which version of ERP LN you're using?

In 10.5, the main table of the session whwmd4100m100 is WHWMD400, and tcibd100 is now an obsolete table.

I've quickly checked in FP7 environment in which, the main table of the Item Inventory session is tcibd100.

The table tcibd100 is indeed obsolete - it was phased out as of LN 10.2.1 to reduce locking during inventory transactions.

Main table for the "Item Inventory" (whwmd4100m100) session is whwmd400 - as it contains all items for warehousing.

The inventory overview in whwmd4100m100 is a sum of the whwmd215 quantities. ("Warehouse - Item Inventory" (whwmd2515m000) session)
