Does anyone know a way to automatically confirm all sales backorders from a batch job? This is a special option in tdsls4125m000, but I'm not sure if it is possible to run special options from batch jobs.

Baan IV doesn't have a way to automatically confirm sales backorders (I think Baan5 does), so I wanted to create a batch job that would clean up any unconfirmed back orders.

I suppose I could create an AFS session that executes that special option in tdsls4125m000, then run that from a batch job. I just wonder if there is an easier way to do this.

Is there a session tdsls4210s000 (Confirm Sales Order Batch)? Also, check in the sales order parameters, if there exists a parameter to confirm the back order's automatically. If yes, then your Job is done. If not, you will need to create an AFS.

I think the options you list are from Baan 5. I looked for the automatic confirmation parameter and it is not in Baan IV as far as I can see.
