Does anybody know when the table tdssc004 gets updated ?

Check the table number please. I guess there is no such table in standard.

I believe the SCH Sales History Contract table gets updated whenever there is an modification /changes done in existing SCH contract OR
when a new contract is setup to replaced existing one , it updates the SCH history table.

and the record inserted is not the updated state of the contract but the previous state as I found out on my tests.
