Hello ALL,

I have noticed with the last several EDI SC830 releases that there is a problem with the forecast qty for the end of 2013 on all part numbers.

Example below:

Per Customer forecast for Nov 2013 (13-11-04): 18,432 pcs

Our contracts are set to smooth the monthly qty into weekly buckets, so this monthly qty should be in Baan as 4,608 pcs over 4 weeks.

Baan is showing 37,288 per week for a total of 149,152 pcs for Nov 2013.


If we total up the forecast qty from Nov 2013 through June 2014 = 149,152 pcs

It appears that Baan is taking the entire “forward” qty and smoothing it out over 4 weeks in Nov.

I dont what is casuing this, can it be related to MPS Plan Period , as we have set our rolling plan to 13 months , so any sales schedule requiremnt after 13 months is being handled in last month.

Please help me out.
