Is the existing purchase order data (tdpur401 and tdpu400) referred to while generating planned purchase orders? if so in what way?

When You are running PRP or MRP, Inventory in Hand + Inventory on order is considered.
System will not generate any Plan Purchase Order of an Item if Po is raised for that item (as Inventory os on Order )
