Hello,

We looking into creating shipping labels that will have all information about the product. I know that a session can be created in BAAN, so that a label prints but it is very small in size. Also, the label should be printed after items were packed because it is unknown on what serial numbers will end up packed together. Does anybody know the best way to create a standard shipping label to be placed on each box in the order? 3 labels per box.
I believe we use BAAN IV.

Thank you for your help.

You can create a Baan session to generate a text file with all the product information. Print that text file using a bar code printer mapped in Baan as a device.

Hope this helps!

We currently use a third party product and an odbc connection to pull data from Baan.

Faisal,
Thank you for the reply. I believe we have a person that can create a session in BAAN but he was telling me that the maximum font size that he can get is about 12 pts. We already have some information being pring ted this way on a very smalll size stickers. the ones that I need should be abouth 1/2 A size paper. How did you solve this?
