We are not being able to generate EDI Invoices using the Session "Compose/Post/Print Invoices". We have done all the setups correctly. May you please help to trace why it is not getting generated.

please check first two settings.

1. Is the EDI message you are using defined for session cisli2200m000 in "Outgoing messages by Session" ecedi0115m000

2. Are the order types for which the EDI messages should be created defined in "Conversion of Order Types (out)" ecedi4132m000

Thanks for your reply. I have checked and found that Order Type is not there in "Conversion of Order Types (out)" ecedi4132m000". Can you please let me know, what will be the activities in tdsls0694m000 for that particular Order Type

maybe I understand your question regarding the activities in tdsls0694m000 not correctly, but here nothing special is taken into accout. For all order types for which we are creating EDI Invoices the same activities are used as for the "Non-EDI" order types.

Typical example from us:
-Release Sales Orders to Warehousing (Auto)
-Maintain Deliveries Sales Order Lines
-Release Sales Orders/Schedules to Invoicing (Auto)
-Process Delivered Sales Orders

I need some help in Conversion Setup also. The file is "Fixed Length" and format is as following.

"*****"<ecedi028.neta><ecedi001.code>
"10"<cisli205.ityp><cisli205.idoc>
"15"<cisli245.shpm><cisli245.pric><cisli245.amti>

Where the text within "" is constant and text within <> are table field name.

Can you please suggest Convertion Setup - Relationship and Conversion Setup - Definitions for that?

If yes, then you need some deeper knowledge about the structure, working methof and data settings of BEMIS.

I am trying to build up my own conversion setup. I have knowledge in format. I hope your talking about "Message Overhead" etc. But, I never worked with Fixed width file. I am facing issue in that.

until now I also worked only with field delimited files and never with files with the field type "Fixed Lenght", but in my understanding the rules should be the same.
