ON LN FP3 system gives a warning message when user try to enter purchase order line for item 'XXXXXX'.Although unit is "eac" for inventory ,price unit,purchase unit.Base units are defined in tcmcs0500m000 session

No conversion factor defined for unit ' ' and base unit 'eac' of item 'XXXXX'
do you know why ?

I have the idea this is a bug. The application does not retrieve a unit in this situation. Maybe you'd better search the Infor365 knowledge base or log an incident at Infor.

this problem comes when any one of the unit against which your are maintaining the records are not come under main units which we define in parameter.

example if in parameter i define unit for weight as 'gm' so system will always ask reference and conversion against 'gm' for all rest weight units like 'mg, kg, lb' etc. but if i want to maintain conversion factor between lb and kg in that case i need to give either item code/item group in "maintain conversion factor" then only system will allow.
