Hi all,
i'm new baan user, so i have many questions about this system, but first...
I use session Outbound Order Lines (whinh2120m000). I always change item line status from Open to Shipped cliking icon Generate Advice. In some cases it shows me message:
"Shortage of ... pcs for Outband Order Line ...
Insufficient inventory for item ... in warehouse ...".
I checked and i have this item on hand in Warehouse in good location. If someone have any idea how change line status for Shipped and solve this problem pls for help.

Hi,
Kindly check whether your specific item is lot controlled, if its lot controlled and in Outbound order lines session --> Order data tab -> what is the Lot selection criteria there?..is it 'Any' or specific?..if any specific lot has been selected then it could possible that in that lot sufficient inventory is not present, in that case you may need to select some other lot.

Hi,
Whether your mentioned warehouse is location controlled?..it could also possible that item's inventory is not sufficient enough in the specific location from where you were trying to issue the item. Please check the item's stock point inventory.

THX for answer and interest my problem,
I have got this item in needed Quantity and in good warehouse.
Outbound Order Lines: 4907 -> I nead this item from warehouse A0998
Stock Point Inventory for this item: 4906 -> A0998, location is also ok.

Hi,
Thanks for your screen shots, please try this -
go to session code - whwmd3500m000 --> select warehouse A0998 --> select location -->A04 (Pick) --> double click on that line --> Go to 'Transactions' tab --> check whether 'Outbound' is checked or not and also it should not be 'Blocked'.
Then follow your outbound material issue process, hope it helps.

You screen shot doesn't shot the item as allocated. Running the Generate Outbound Session will allocate the Item to you order.

Hi,
When the Shortage report is generating, kindly note that shortage for which specific location. Please update how the problem get resolved by your consultant.

Hi, i have got solution.
In session Item-Inventory Structure (whinr1550m000) we look for our item, then we click Specific -> Handling Units. In opened new window we change lines status from In Stock to Closed (Specific -> Close).
Then we can change item line status from Open to Shipped clicking icon Generate Advice in session Outbound Order Lines. Now it's all ok.
