We have the following situation in our system.
purchase and sales unit is kilometer (KM) whereas warehousing unit is meter (MT).

The main length unit on system is "MT" because we want to use handling units for some cable items so that we could divide cable in pieces of less than a kilometer.
This causes problems to warehouse keepers. because, they are accustomed with KM unit they were using on the old system.

My question is : is it possible to use unit KM for item's proposal issues ?

Yes, its possible to maintain two different units, only you need to maintain the coversion factor between both the units.
