I would some help because Im looking for a solution that allows me to change the lenght of the field sales order series from 6 to 8 or more, in Baan IV,

Im having trouble with this fields because i have an increase of sales order,

You need to consult Infor support. A huge number of solutions were published some years ago to make the necessary underlying changes to structures, but there was never, to my knowledge, a solution published to actually implement the change.

Please see document "U8339A US" - Implementaion Guide for Enlarging order numbers. This document can be found in the documentation section on the Infor365 online support side.
Here the implemantation for the use of seven-digit-order numbers in BaanIV c is described.
