Hi - we are migrating from Baan V to Ln. I understand that City Code is now a mandatory and referenced field in the Addresses table.

Is this really the case and is there any way of swithcing this off?

What sort of City by Country coding methodologies are people out there using?

We have around 4000 international addresses to clean up and I'm looking for examples of how others have handled this.

When we migrated from a legacy IBM system to LN, we populated the Address and City tables using Exchange. We just used the first 8 characters of the city when populating the tables. In the Address table, City is a mandatory field.
