We are having problems changing quantities on Direct ship sales orders/purchase orders. The system will not allow say a quantity change because the orders are linked. Even if they have not been received. What if we need to say, increase the quantity by one? Does anyone have a work around or a procedure to handle this situation.

I did not test this on BaanIV. For LN you need to change the quantity on the sales order for this scenario.

In Baan IV, I think you cannot change the qty.

I think the check is given for a purpose. If the sales order qty can be changed without informing purchasing, then that will cause ans issue. You will need to delete the PO and then change the sales qty.

Alternatively, this needs to be customized.
