I have an query on LN 6.1 FP5

I want to create a item code for project items
e.g. group,type,loc,serial numbers. what are all session, i need to define. i presume 20+digit code will accept .

Is there any options to retrieve the records by Item sub group ( what is the session)

any information u want to define fr item u can define in item genearal and its sub-entities.
u can define item group,etc
If its a project related item it should hav project code also.
u can define product class,product type etc to sort as per requirement.
