Is it possible to restrict inventory of an item to certain warehouse(s) / location(s)?

Session "Maintain Locations by Item (tdilc0130m000)" should meet your needs.

Thanks for the tip. Looks like it may work. Can you point me to any further documentation on how that session works and interacts with other processes? The session and field help is pretty light (big surprise there :rolleyes:)

First of all session Maintain location by item works only with location controlled warehouse and it used by inbounding process only. It will no way restrict it. Also, the restriction is applicable based on parameter in ilc- inbounding of free location allowed or not. I think the best way to do is to use storage condition. That will give the restriction you are looking for location control warehouse.

Try "write" restriction using data field Authorization on inventory tables for the user
