Dear Expert,

We have created new item code with purchase item type. Then we go to warehouse orders and create sfc production order manual with receipt transaction. But we are facing a problem when we try to input the lot number for receipt items.
The system give a message "Change the value of lot field, Lot is not a production lot"

actually i already set the item as a lot item. BUt when i change the item type as 'manufactured', there is no issue for the system to receipt the items by lot.
BUt that's not what i need because the items is 'purchase items' and the system does not allow me to receive the item by lot if the item type is set to 'purchase'.
FYI, i use SFC Production manual and receipt type for my Warehouse orders to receipts the purchase items by lot.

Any solutions / suggestion how to allow the system to receive that type of transaction.

This should be defined in place where you have created lot.
