Is it possible anyhow to change inventory unit for item A which have transactions ?
for example,maybe to create new item B and transfer the transaction to the new item B then change by GTM the inventry unit of the item A and transfer back the transaction from item B to item A.

It is not possible through front end . And the same time i am not advising you to change the unit through ttaad4100(GTM).

Handling of this problem,
Copy and create new item from existing one and correct the inventory unit.
then Adjust the old item inventory by 0 and new item by correct inventory.

To prevent future use block the old item.

does this issue happen in BAAN V, if it is right, i think i got one method to help you.
firstly, you need to clean the inventory of "A" in system.
second, you can go to below session to "tiedm1201m000-copy engineering items to items " to copy item-"A" to "A"
once you finished above two steps, you would change the unit of "A" in item data

As we already Simulated the step given by you, But still system gives message , E-Item Unit is not Matched with Item. Well i am managing to approve the changes from Engineering and Production but at the time of finalization system through an error " Ebom is not Valid".

Please give me the step (if it is possible please provide Screen shot of steps).

If it is true then your solution is better than my given solution.

you are right, you may get the message because you need to change the unit of item in engineer item session(engineering items -tiedm0510m000) first, once you change it, you will allow to run the session(tiedm1201m000-copy engineering item to items).
above steps we often use with any error.
