accidently deleted the purchase order header and lines. i want to restrict this deletion options for the future.
how do i restrict with the user level??
please advice.

Try this,

Criteria : wanna remove delete option for all users.

1.Copy the PO header and Lines in the Current VRC
2.Remove the delete button in the form.

Criteria : need delete option for certain users - rest to be removed.

after doing above steps-1 & 2
3.create a NEW VRC from current.
4.restore delete buttons in newly created VRC.
5.Place the user who needs the Delete option in PO in the NEW VRC.

Else simply write a Cust session for Delete order.

yes, you can restrict at user level...
Use session ttaad4132m000 Maintain Table Authorization by table.
