I am unable to delete a newly created warehouse and getting the message 'Unable to delete; record being used in other table'. I have checked in all possible tables but could not figure out anything.

did you try to find out the used references with help of session ttaad4229m000 "Print references to Parent" ?
This session prints the references to a table depent on a specified key.
