If you are using DEM, you can add the approve session as subapplication for the SO session and manage the authorization for subapplication.

Remove the User Authorization from the session "ttaad2132m000 " for the Sales Order Approval Session

You can add restrictions via ttams3132m000 - Session Authorisations by session and can restrict access at session level. Hope this helps. Cheers.
