dear all,
Please help me or this situation.
I have 2 (two) warehouses. One of that warehouse is nettable type and the another is non nettable warehouse.
I have scenario like this if inventory in nettable minimum 6 kg (weight from 1 cartoon) then make RPL to nettable warehouse.
Can this scenario otomatic so I don't need to input RPL manually.
Please advice.

Robby

Hi Robby,
I doubt if you could do this automation in Baan4. Probably you would have to do it with the help of AFS...

Step 1: Make an AFS-powered session that checks inventory and, if inventory level exceed certain threshold in source warehouse, perform all RPL steps automatically for you
Step 2: Put this AFS-powered session in a job and have it run regularly as you see fit

Since you have a nettable and a non-netaalbe warehouse, I would suggest to use DRP (distribution requirements planning). You could compare this with MRP, but instead of making planned production/purchase orders, DRP generates planned replenishment orders from the nettable to the non-nettable warehouse as soon as the inventory drops below a certain level.
Maybe you could ask your account manager or look at the Infor site for documentation about DRP.

funny how fast the "techies" amongst the board members stand up with their technical solutions. but sometimes Baan has standard options which work pretty nice, like in this case drp........
