Why am I getting a the message "Order quantity not a multiple of 1" message when entering the ordered quantity of 8 (or 1) on a PO line?

The inventory and storage units for this item are "ea" and the purchase and price units are "ctn".

I have a conversion factor setup for the item from ea to ctn = 2.77777778 raise 10 to the -2 power (i.e. 36 ea per ctn).

Any ideas?

Have you tried checking the ItemMaster Form4, Fifth field from the top if you discount out the item code field. It should show 1 for this item you are purchasing. If thats ok, then try checking the rounding factor of the units in Maintain Units {tcmcs0101m000}
