Dear All,
Have a question, see my attached files. screen1 ('tdpur4105m000') . while here, the user will zoom into the 'item' field to see the description. see 'screen2'.

In that window, i only want the user to access the 'display item list' , thats enough.

at this moment,user goes to 'maintain item " and checks the description - which is dangerous. at this moment i only block access for the 'description field ' in the 'Maintain Item" file but the others cannot.

i did that in 'Baan Authorization " session.

Is there a better way?
Pls advice

ps: Baan suggested i customize to remove "Maintain Item Data" from the 'screen2' window as per attached.

If noone needs Maintain itemmaster on second form, best way is baan suggestion.
