When I copy the sales order, new sales order position numbers are not matching with source one.

Please advise.

Baan IV adds the new lines to the existing lines according the normal algorithm. (Step in parameters for sales orders)
Thus in most of the case you will get the same line number like in the source order.
Only if you copy ALL lines to a new order you should get the same line numbers.

Thats correct, the copied new sales order will have positions/line number as per the step size in Sales order parameter irrespective of the position number in the source order. Though the sequence of items remains same. Hence if you have a step size of 10 and the positions in source order are 10, 20, 30, 35 (manually changed) and 40. Then the positions in the copied orders will be 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 (if you copy all positions).

Earlier it was working fine. When I copy any sales order (full or partially), the position number was exactly matching with source one. But recently (May be after SP19) we noticed the changes like the new sales order is arranged by item (alphabatical) order. It is very difficult to compare with source sales order.

Please advise.
