How can I split up the authorizations for session tdpur4121m000, so that several departments can book receipts of their own orders (series)?
They aren't allowed to receive orders of another warehouse/order serie.
How to achive this?

You can set user database field authorisations so a user can only handle a PO in a certain series or for a certain warehouse

On field level this does not work. Because the record is inserted anyway.
Are there no other possibilities than database authorizations?

Hi,
Try the Maintain Table Data Authorization {ttaad4134m000}. This should do it..

Yes it does, but is there no standard functionality to manage who may receive what order serie or warehouse?

In ERP LN 6.1 as part of the user profile the use of receipt series can be indicated as well as a warehouse linked. I guess that should do the trick. Now just migrate to ERP as I am not aware of similar functionality in Baan IV.

In Baan4, the authorization feature is considered the standard functionality in setting up users and the data they could play with. I have no idea what Baan5 or Baan6 provides, but with Baan4 this is how you do it.

Hi,
If it is not possible thru field authorization then I guess it is very small customization- Create a table ad maintain the ranges. Thats the beauty of Baan, it is quite easy to develop what one needs.

I am quite sure that you can set a database field authorisation for tdpur045.orno. Allow everything in the range that the user can work on and nothing or read-only for the rest.

Since we use DEM I don't want to authorize on user level, but on role level!
