Assuming you ask about the quantity of items to be inspected while receiving, the answer differs whether using warehouse or quality management. In warehouse management all items received will be considered for inspection. In quality management you can define by quality id / test group whether you want to use sampling and if so, how the quantity is to be determined. This can be expressed in a percentage or quantity.
