Hi,
I am copying Existing Purchase order and lines to another new order and lines.
old order contains 13 line items , when i copy to new order it is coping into 17 line items.
I have checked the both the orders. I found it was splitted the 4 items in to additional lines. I just copied from source order to target order different serial number.
how this is happening? what is the reasson. how to rectify ?
Please advice.

Hi,
Baan copies the delivered quantity and not the order quantity of the order line. This could be the reason.

Hi baan98,
Please check the setting for "Cumulate Receipts" in the copy form. "YES" should solve your problem.

The copy options is working correctly for some order and some orders not.
What is the difference between orders which can be copied correctly and those who can't? Hard to give an advice with without knowing more details.
Anyway, what does Baan say to this problem? Did you start a product inquiry (formerly know as 'case')?
Regards,
Martin

I have created purchase order number : 1001,on 1-01-2006, item x ,100qty.
maintained receipt for the same order receipt number 50 qty, receipt number 2001,dated 05-1-2006, another receipt maintained for 50 qty
receipt number 50.
In breif we have maintained 2 receipt of 50 qty each.
Now i am copying the purchase order to 1001 to another purchase order 1005
it shows me as 2 lines added.
However if you refer to puchase order 1001 it has only one line ( 100 qty).
How to resolve this problem.
Pl.advice.
