Logistics wants to count an item daily, as far as I know you can only count the same item once per week (based on Class A items). Is there an override button to allow daily cycle counts?

Hi,
The only way to force a cycle count daily is to write a small program that will do following:
1. Make the last counting date blank in ilc101 for concerned warehouse and locations,
2. Create a fixed location for item (if Item has zero inventory in that location).

Thats it. This can be run in batch mode before dailt cycle count.

Hi,

I understand that baan allows one cycle order a day for an item. We can create another cycle counting order another day.

Please let me know if i am wrong.

Navin,
You can create as many cycle count for an item. It all depends on ilc101 cycle count date. If this field is made zero system will again cycle count. If inventory is zero then it looks in tdinv001.

I don't know if it will work for your version but placing a -1 in the weeks field will allow you to count daily. You must use table maintaince to change field or write code that will change.
