Is there a way to default the delivery date for Sales Orders to be 5 days later than the current (order) date?

I am not sure about Baan IV, but in Baan V you can do it per user: you once set the delivery date in the session to +5, and then hit the "save defaults" button, and choose yes when system asks if you want to remember the difference between system date and selected date. Like this it will always be defaulted at +5.

Obviously, programmatically you can also code it..

I tried saving defaults after entering +5 in delivery date field and it did not work. Any other ideas?
We are not using the Baan Transportation module.
