We deploy Baan ERP 5c SP16.
I would like to know, how vendor rating - delivery works. Meanwhile we are working with the other objective criterias, only delivery don't come back with results, which make sense.
According to my information following figures must be available (all from table tdpur401):
- order date (odat)
- planned delivery date (ddta)
- actual delivery date (ddte)

The result is 0 in each case.
Setup for 'Vendor rating parameters' and 'Objective scoring scheme' is done.

Who can give me a hint?

Additional I would appreciate if you let me know, whether you deploy Baan Vendor rating with success.

Hello bbnkamba,
We evaluate our vendors' performance, but we do this through a Crystal Report.
The source is the one you mentioned (tdpur401) plus the item supplier info (tdipu010). From the latter we take the expected lead time for the item.

The evaluation focuses on 2 variables: quantity and time.

So, for all purchase lines within a period we calculate the deviation (i) between delivered and purchased quantities and (ii) between expected lead time and actual delivery time.

After setting the parameters (% of tolerances for qty. and time) the vendor rating can be easily done and clearly communicated to suppliers. We had good results so far with this method.

Thanks a lot, Ale, for your detailed message and for the description of your process. Let me ask one additional question: Do you get also results at Vendor ratings (tdpur8502m000) or at graph vendor rating (tdpur8701m000) for criteria type delivery?

Best regards

Dear bbnkamba,
Actually we *only* take information from the tables I mentioned. We are not using the vendor rating sessions from Baan.
