I am not able to maintain the series in packing slips, could some one help me out.
i had checked with Baan support, and they are saying its a functionality, i cant understand if we ask some thing about the bug, they simply says "its a functionality"

Can you describe your problem a bit clearer and in more detail please?

While maintaining the first free no. the system is not alllowing me to add a new series for packing slips (Sales Order).. it is showing "No series is in use, adding not allowed"

what is the series length of the number group?
if zero you, then series is not in use.
else you should be able to add series.

Baan IV does not allow maintaining number series for Packing Slips. So you will not be able to maintain the series. You can only maintain the first free number that is to be used by the system.
