Can we use the functionality 'Inspection' (of receipt) without implemented the 'Location Control' system?:confused:

Inspection is an item attribute while Location is a warehouse attribute. So you can have inspection applicable inspite of not having location control implemented...

1)You have incorporate the step tdpur4121m000 in your order type.

2)You have to maintain the field Inspection =YES in supplier Master as well as item master so as to default the same in to Purchase Order.

This will ensure your requirement

Even if it is not present order type, one can carry out inspection if the Purchase order line reads inspection 'Yes'.
So, as has been written earlier here , location has nothing to do for inspection.
