We are on BaaN IV c4 ILC without lot control.
What is the best way to proceed with products which should be blocked for any reason (not in receiving procedure where it's in a control location) ?

We use special warehouses, but the stock in there is shown as available.

We are thinking about other solutions: put the item in a blocked location, run a production order with the same item produced and used, ...

If the items are spread across multiple warehouses, try using signal codes and block these items for a specific business process - Sales, Purchase, Production etc.
