Hello all,
Baan 5.0c
As there is a "multiple order quantity" for the purchase orders tcibd2500m000 (e.g. to purchase the number of units the supplier packs in a box) I would like to set a multiple quantity for our sales.

In other words, to suggest the order entry responsible a quantity per item that corresponds to our packages (boxes typically, that may or may not be equal to our supplier's boxes).

In the Item Sales Data session tdisa0101s000 I found the minimum sales quantity field. This is useful, but not enough.
Does someone know if the sales multiple field exists in Baan 5?
Thank you!

Ale

Hi Ale,

The "order qty multiple of" field doesn't work in SO? I don't have BaanERP in front of me right now, so I can't check. Anyhow, you can work around it by setting your own box as unit of measurement and have the salesperson key SOs in term of boxes

Rgds,
Paul

hello Paul,
thank you for the reply!

You are right, using conversion factors and inputting boxes in the SOs is an option! But I'd like to keep the "pc" (pieces) unit since most of our items are handled by piece and people in the company reason in this way...

If you by chance find the field for the "multiple quantities" I'd be grateful. In any case thanks again for your help.

Ale

Hi Ale,

Actually, if "order quantity multiple of" field in Item Ordering Data can't do it (I'll double check when I can get access to BaanERP), then there's no other field providing the functionality you're looking for

Paul
