Hi All,

This is in Baan 5.c EDI.

I have done the required setup for internal EDI 850S(850 single file) and it was working sucessfully. Now I am facing a problem. The setup which I had done is not changed.
But when I try to run the session Generate EDI Messages(ecedi7201m000), it shows the order no and lines which is being processed. But after some time it getts hanged. The report indecating generation of EDI message does not come.
At file system, the temp files for the EDI messages is getting created but the file '850S' is not being created.

Also for another Internal EDI setup the session Direct Network Communication(ecedi7205m000) is also getting hanged.

Please anyone came accross such problem, please let me know what is going wrong.

Are you using a command.fil when running a direct nework communication.
If the command.fil is there already, the session will hang until the command.fil is removed.

This happens when the temp directory in Baan is full.

can anyone tell me how you creat the sales order using EDI 850 ,and if possible the session for it.

You have to maintain the EDI setup for inboud 850 message and has to use the DNC session 'tcedi7205m000' to load the orders.

For maintianing EDI setup, please refer Baan EDI manual.
